Education in Partnership with Coventry University

We were pleased with Michael Dare and the expertise of Mr Kedar Kale to provide our expertise and experience in rheumatology to first contact practitioner masters students at the university of coventry. One of the services we offer at the Arthritis Clinic is education and training and providing top quality rheumatology education is one of our passions. We hosted two full days of which consisted of advanced diagnostics in rheumatology and a second day on rheumatology in clinical practice for MSK practitioners.

The course covered assessment in rheumatology, clinical reasoning, early inflammatory arthritis, pharmacology in rheumatology, injection therapy and physiotherapy intervention to name a few. The students were engaged and raised some excellent points in the case studies demonstrating advanced thinking and clinical reasoning. We look forward to future sessions and are thankful to Coventry University for allowing us this opportunity to share our experience and expertise in this field as AHPs.
